The Moo
Zoo is proud to present its first “Moove Over Cancer”
fundraising event.
In
October, one of The Moo Zoo’s favourite young patrons was
diagnosed with Breast Cancer. She is a young mother of two young
children (2 and 4). Her desire to immediately inform and educate
other young women that Breast Cancer does not discriminate by age
inspired us to work together to create an event that would help
raise some money for Breast Cancer Research and create awareness to
other young women to get checked and keep healthy.
Kristina,
amidst dealing with her own recent personal cancer awareness and
just beginning her series of chemotherapy treatments is an example
of true integrity thinking first of others and her concern by
organizing this event. The Moo Zoo is honoured to work with her to
make this event a successful reality. Kristina, juggling her health
issues and two young children, family, house and home and we all wish
her our heartfelt thanks for taking action and inspiring others.
We
all have been touched by cancer in some way or another. People like
Kristina lead the fight to end Breast Cancer and took her own
personal interest, hobby and small home business of Stamping to the
next level. The Ink It Pink event will help others through research
and awareness. Thanks Kristina for thinking of others at this
challenging time in your life!
